Statesman Self Storage

This project consists of converting a downtown industrial office, previously the Statesman Journal’s space into a multi-unit storage facility. This project’s design and retrofit was constantly evolving due to the anomalous and outdated existing conditions. Project successes included overcoming the ever-changing design and interpreting newly uncovered existing conditions which created further complexities for the retrofit of the building. Structural anomalies were revealed during demolition of spaces of in the building. We worked with the design team to come up with a timely solution so that the construction could move forward. The owner’s input was used throughout the entirety of the project.
